BIBAT studies

BIBAT studies

We are pioneers in this field of championing the fight against poor Occupation Health and Safety against employees through senstisatising them about their rights, duties and obligations. Our team of experts in this field have got wide experiences in this field of Labour acquired through our human resource development programs. Our students enjoy learning in a cooperative, intellectually exciting environment.

In their classes they engage with the many and diverse issues that animate our contemporary world of work:

  • What are the barriers to gender and racial equality at work?
  • Are our workplaces safe and healthy?
  • What are the reasons for the growth of precarious forms of work? Can we 'green' the economy?
  • What are the solutions to these issues? As they were in decades past, are unions a part of the solutions?

We are a small program. Students get to know their teaching staff.

Teaching is very important to us. In the classroom we seek to inform, challenge and learn from our students. Our faculty are at the forefront of research and critical labour issues in Canada and around the world.

Our staff is committed to providing excellent and friendly advice and service to our students.

WHY STUDY AT BON INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY(BIBAT)

Certificate Program offers working people an opportunity to better understand and act upon the complex problems they face in their day to day lives. Courses examine the lives and experiences of working people, the changing nature of work, the impact of government policies, and the role of our movement in the social, economic and political development of modern society.

Students are given an opportunity to examine, in a friendly environment, issues of concern to them as workers.

Specialized courses in research skills, library resources and the internet provide students with the tools they need to make lifelong learning a reality.
